The sacred garden: Plant allyship on may 18th, 2025 - sign up

Plant Allyship Wisdom Circle with green witch, Roxanne

Sunday, May 18th, 2pm-4pm

Let the plants speak to you. Opening to the sacred, experience how to cultivate relationships with plants, learn herbal actions & energetics and how to be a sustainable herbalist. Each gathering we will blind-taste fresh preparations of 3-4 different plants.

For our first meeting, in the fresh green of Spring, we will explore nourishing, nutritive Wild Weeds. One of my first, and still favorite reasons for learning about plants was to know what was growing around me— be able to take a walk and know what was medicine right there at my fingertips, or at my feet. They remain the herbs I use most on a daily basis, and think of first to treat almost any condition— because they are safe for anyone and because of their profound ability to help heal. These plants have so much to offer, sometimes in surprising ways, and although they are commonly found, hold such deep medicine that is anything but ordinary.

For an article I wrote on the Magick of Wild Weeds, READ ON HERE.

Held out in the wild garden of my home in Chupadero.

Address, details on what to bring and how to prepare after RSVP. Entirely donation-based, $44-$88 per person suggested, please give what you can.

“The plants teach us to understand our own bodies as living breathing beings, transforming and changing every moment. Moving with the stars, the seasons, with the rise and fall of the sun and moon, the turning of the earth and the flow of tides. The plants come into our rivers of blood and fluid, sending their energy and power to every cell. Their chemicals dance with ours, soothing our nerves, calming the mind, awakening movement. For every need, there is a plant who can help us. Clear our thoughts, relieve an aching muscle, an upset stomach, a tight heart, opening us to life again…

Each of us has the ability to develop powerful relationships with the plants. They are eager for us to come back into the partnership that many humans in the past have upheld – the existence of lifeon this planet depends on it. It is time for us to listen again, with our hearts and bodies.” one of my teachers, Sage Mauer of The Gaia School
