I am here as an ear, a hand, a heart--a friend, a guide--for myself and for the mothers of the world.

I am here to feel the divine in body, to embody transformation.
I am here to listen.
I am here to advocate.
I am here to tend the portal.
I am here to beat the drum.

I am here for our grandmothers and granddaughters.
I am here to tend the hearth of rebirth whether by fire, water, air or earth.

I am anchored by the women who tended before me and will tend after me.
I am anchored in love.
I am committed to mothers, their choices & their babies.

I am committed to study; to ask questions; to give my all.
I am committed to trust the wisdom of my body & spirit, of each mother’s body & spirit.

I am a free & open vessel for Spirit; to care, to listen, to act with responsibility, awareness & ease.

I trust in Spirit and I trust in Myself.

I will facilitate & follow mothers who do the same.

which story we choose to tell shapes the present and heals the past.

i grew up on the outskirts of the city of los angeles. in my twenties, i reached for something more out of a deep, burning desire to know who i am. I travelled, moved to colorado, and that call was answered in an ancient teaching called AYURVEDA. 

my inquiries began to crack doors and windows in my heart and mind--i opened up to receive a rich embodied wisdom that is my birthright, and yours. 

this wisdom has blossomed into the wise woman way of herbalism and birthkeeping. I now live in santa fe, new mexico.

…as wombyn, we are tied to all wombyn before us, as we are an egg in the womb of our mothers inside our grandmother’s bellies…and they in theirs, and so on…

my maternal grandfather's family was from persia--a family tale tracks back to the nomadic tribes and women shamans of old on the border of today’s iran & turkey. my maternal grandmother's family was from the mountains of poland, where my tale weaves through the jewish & romani gypsy lineage. On my father’s side, the scottish celtic lineage streams through my story

I am a Certified Holistic Herbalist, Certified Childbirth Consultant & Family Advocate and Certified Ceremonialist.

I honor the yogis, herbalists, scientists, shamans, botanists, shakti goddesses, witches, masters, mentors--Sri baba hari dass, emilie conrad, paul bergner, michael moore, rosemary gladstar, susun weed, whapio bartlett, rachelle garcia-seliga, the plants, and for all our relations--upon whose shoulders I stand.
